Ovia is delighted to announce two new appointments to the sales team. Peter Stubbs joins the team as Area Sales Manager for Yorkshire and the North-East, and Gary Middleton has taken up the position of Area Sales Manager for South Wales and the Lower West Midlands regions.

Attaining a wealth of experience, Peter has worked in the electrical industry for over 15 years, occupying a range of roles including sales and business development manager. His background with both manufacturers and wholesalers will make him a valuable addition to the Ovia team.

Gary Middleton joins Ovia with impressive experience, mostly spent at a leading wholesaler, and has been in the industry since 2005. As Ovia continues to grow and expand, Gary will play a critical role in keeping customers up to date with latest developments from a product, technology and regulations point of view.

Liam Wiltshire & Ashley Bown

ESP

ESP has welcomed two new members to the sales team. Liam Wiltshire takes on the position of Area Sales Manager for South-East and Ashley Bown joins the company as Area Sales Manager for the East Midlands region.

Both will be responsible for developing new and existing customer relationships at an independent and national level within the regions they cover. As ESP continues to grow and expand its product offer, they will ensure that customers are kept up to date with all the latest developments, from a product, technology, and regulations point of view.

Liam arrives to his new role with a wealth of experience in the electrical industry. His electrical journey started within the wholesaler environment where he worked for seven years before moving over to the manufacturing side.

Attaining an impressive 12 years of experience, Ashley has worked with a number of leading wholesaler and distributer organisations before joining the ESP team.

James Matthews

BAXI

Baxi has appointed James Matthews as new Head of Public Health, leading its technical specification and sales team to supply energy-efficient low-carbon hot water solutions with Heatrae Sadia and Andrews Water Heaters products. James has gained a wealth of experience from previous roles within the construction industry, most recently as Business Development Director at Polypipe.

Rob Erwood, Commercial Sales and Specification Director at Baxi, said: “We’re delighted to welcome James as our new Head of Public health, working alongside our Head of Building Services and Head of Key Accounts. James’s appointment reflects our commitment to providing exceptional support for our customers in this sector.”

ARCTIC HAYES

Arctic Hayes has announced the addition of two key professionals to its team. Newly appointed Marketing Manager Richard Musgrave takes on creating innovative marketing campaigns, while Emma Telfer brings a wealth of experience as the new Business Support Manager. Richard’s extensive experience in strategic marketing and brand management in previous roles at Arco, Willberby, Stephenson, and Wren Kitchens will help him establish the company’s market presence and engage with plumbing professionals nationwide. Additionally, Emma’s wealth of experience including positions of operational management at Aston Chambers, Infinity Works and Core Consulting, will assist her to enhance customer experience and streamline internal processes to support Arctic Hayes’ ongoing growth.

Trevor Tomkins

THE HUDSON GROUP

Hudson Group has appointed industry guru Trevor Tomkins as Group Technical Consultant to work across and represent the three businesses comprising of the Group- RMS, Armorduct and Milton.

Since beginning his career at Shell plc, Trevor has gained extensive experience having been in the electrical and cable management sectors spanning over four decades. This includes holding technical sales and senior management roles, helping to design lighting systems for service tunnels within the Thames Barrier, in addition to working on the cable management systems on the Channel Tunnel.

Across his extensive network of contacts, Trevor will harness his considerable expertise to develop business opportunities for RMS and Armorduct. By working with a number of national and international companies, he will provide expert guidance and experience to offer certified training sessions around how to use the Hudson’s Group cable management systems to maximum effect.

Gwenaelle Avice-Huet

SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC

Schneider Electric has appointed Gwenaelle Avice-Huet as its new Executive Vice President of Europe Operations.

In her new role, Gwenaelle will be responsible for Schneider Electric’s full business portfolio across Europe Operations, representing the company’s contribution to the development of the EU’s agenda to accelerate Europe’s green and digital transformation.

Gwenaelle joined Schneider Electric in 2021 as Senior-Vice President of Corporate Strategy, before entering the Executive Committee as Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Gwenaelle worked at ENGIE (formerly GDF SUEZ) in various roles, from Senior Vice-President of European and Regulatory affairs, to leading the Renewables energy business.

Gwenaelle will be relocating from the United States to Europe upon her nomination.

Tanya Stevenson

LINIAN

LINIAN has appointed Tanya Stevenson, as its new Marketing Manager.
Tanya is experienced in driving marketing function and facilitating growth with businesses, with over 20 years of experience in a B2B and B2C environment in retail, healthcare, and publishing industries. In the role she will be working closely with LINIAN Global Commercial Director Lynne Jhangeer and CEO Ian Arbuckle, as well as the Sales Team. Her focus will also be on supporting the wholesalers’ efforts to generate growth and strengthening relationships.

Tanya said: “‘I like a challenge that is naturally coming with the business expansion. I am all about getting to know our customers and establishing great relationships that lead to mutual success.
