Boris Johnson announced his additional £5bn infrastructure investment to help the UK “build, build, build” its way out of the pandemic crisis. The PM’s promise to put jobs and infrastructure at the centre of the government policy.
Commenting on the PM’s announcement, EDA President, CEF’s Chris Ashworth, says:“This investment commitment is reassuring news for the UK’s electro-technical sector and the many businesses and livelihoods it represents. Government spending will drive demand for electrical installations in domestic, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. Electrical contractors can rest assured that the wholesale sector is ready to step forward and continue to provide excellent service and up to date product knowledge they can depend on.”
