C-TEC has announced the new appointment of Scott Barber to its Internal Sales Team as Sales Support Coordinator.

Reporting directly to UK Sales Manager, Brian Foster, Scott’s role focuses on cultivating existing customer relationships, engaging with new clients, and providing dedicated support to the company’s expanding customer base. Additionally, Scott will identify new business opportunities, prepare quotations, and deliver presentations.

Carrying over nine years’ experience, Scott previously serviced key accounts and managed prestigious electrical projects including Lancaster University, Derby Airport, and Voyager Care Homes for Rexel UK Ltd.

“I’m very excited to be joining C-TEC,” he commented, “I’m already familiar with the products which is a major advantage and can’t wait to start building up relationships with our customers.”

Scott, who lives with partner Beth and their three young children, enjoys spending time with family and gaming in his spare time.

Brian said: “Scott is friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable with excellent people skills. I am confident Scott will be a huge asset to the team.”

Jan Rijnen

Jan Rijnen joins Baxi Heating UK & Ireland at a pivotal time for the UK heating and hot water sector, replacing Karen Boswell OBE as Managing Director.

Former CEO of insulation specialist De Isolatieshop B.V., Jan has worked with Bosch, Bosch Thermotechnology Group, and most recently as Managing Director and Board Member for central heating manufacturer and supplier, Nefit-Bosch.

Karen Boswell OBE leaves Baxi at the end of November after three years as the company’s Managing Director. Karen has led Baxi through considerable UK & Ireland reorganisation and consolidation, the COVID pandemic, major supply chain challenges in 2022, and has driven significant improvements in Baxi’s sustainability and safety performance.

As the Chair of the HHIC, Karen continues to be a powerful and proactive voice in the industry and Champion for EDI in the broader construction sector.
