Vent-Axia has launched the new Sentinel Apex commercial heat recovery ventilation range to improve indoor air quality and help specifiers create low carbon buildings as we head towards the UK’s 2050 Net Zero target.
The range has been designed to be highly energy efficient with low SFP and embodied carbon, through using CIBSE TM65 data collection methodology, and offers up to 93% heat recovery efficiency alongside ultra-low sound levels. Sentinel Apex’s intuitive controls are compatible with the Sentinel-X Sensors range and together monitor occupancy and air quality. To ensure highest levels of IAQ, Apex features ePM10 50% extract and ePM1 55% supply filters as standard.
An ideal solution to tackle overheating buildings, Apex features an automatic summer bypass designed to provide free cooling when available but is sized to eliminate performance loss. Specifiers can choose from five sizes delivering airflows up to 4000m3/hr.
As Apex operates on the principles of demand ventilation, it is ideal for applications where the rooms are used at different times of the day.
Designed to avoid complexity, the advanced control system has three levels of interface as standard. The onboard user interface controller incorporates a two line display with four button keypad for fan status and basic commissioning setup. Wired and wireless communication sensors are available with local mains or battery powered options.
Standard features include side and bottom access panels and a fitted condensate tray with an internal quiet running pump. Additionally, the Sentinel Apex is manufactured with double-skin construction and acoustic infill and an electric frost protection heater.
