The Joint Industry Board (JIB) has revealed some of the key responses from its 2022 Membership Survey, with almost 90% of respondents saying the organisation makes them feel valued.
More than 160 individuals took part in the survey which was sent out in October to gather information on why members had joined, what they felt were the main benefits and how the JIB was performing overall.
The JIB’s reputation for investing in people, its effective “one stop” HR solution and membership being seen as a mark of quality were the three main reasons given for joining the JIB. Raising standards for employment, welfare and apprentice training is regarded as the JIB’s top priority among members, with more than 70% of respondents saying the JIB was ‘Good’ or better at delivering on this.
For future growth, members would like to see the JIB expand market, industry and legislative updates and build on the success of the Regional Forums with greater member engagement.
Roger Horne, JIB Head of Membership, said: “The JIB strives to continue delivering on its priorities for its members and make improvements wherever possible. Feedback from the Membership Survey is crucial in order for us to see what we are getting right and what members would like to see more of. Thank you to everybody who took part in the survey, the results of which will help influence our strategy going forward.”
