Recolight has confirmed dates for five new webinars in 2022, aimed at helping the lighting industry adopt circular economy principles.
The webinars this year seek to move the focus from what needs to be done, to what’s actually being done now. Together with Ray Molony, who will chair the sessions Recolight has invited leading specialists from across the lighting industry to present.
Recolight CEO Nigel Harvey said: “I am delighted that so many sustainability leaders from across our sector have agreed to present on the webinars. We hope that they will provide insights in how to become more circular, the impetus for lighting manufacturers to make the change, and the inspiration for end users to properly prioritise circularity in their specifications.”
The webinars, designed for lighting industry, will look at what is being achieved to move to a more sustainable business model:
How to be a sustainable lighting manufacturer | 24 March
Innovations in sustainability: 6 lights for a circular future | 28 April
Remanufacturing: How to rebuild a light fitting | 9 June
Your guide to lighting regs 2022 | 20 September
Sustainable lighting projects: Making it happen in the real world | 20 October
Ray Molony added: “Over the last two years, our Circular Economy webinar series has been attended by over 1,000 individuals from the lighting industry and beyond. To create the programme for 2022 we held workshops with panellists from previous events and reviewed key threads arising from each webinar. The result is another series that will spotlight good practice in luminaire and project design, and great sustainability in lighting manufacture.”
All webinars are free to join, with the opportunity to put questions to the panels. CPD registration is being sought for all five events.
