Ovia has announced the appointment of Richard Wells to the position of Area Sales Manager for the mid Wales and North Midlands regions.

Richard brings a wealth of experience to his new role having worked within the electrical industry for more than 35 years. He spent the majority of that time with some of the industry’s major electrical wholesalers and most recently enjoyed a five year spell with a leading lighting manufacturer.

In his role with Ovia, he will be responsible for developing new and existing customer relationships at an independent and national level, as well as engaging with contractors and specifiers to grow brand and product awareness.
