A charity set up to support the electrical industry is set to benefit from a new partnership with Niglon.
As part of the link-up, 10% of the profit plus VAT from every single sale of every product in Niglon’s Median wiring accessories range will be donated to the Electrical Industries Charity, as of June 1st 2021. The EIC supports individuals and families in need, whether they have been impacted by bereavement, redundancy, illness, or the Coronavirus pandemic.
Paul Dawson, Niglon’s Commercial Director, explains: “I have been in the electrical industry for the past 32 years and feel strongly that we should all support each other, particularly those who are having a tough time.
“The pandemic has been hard for us all, and sadly there are many more people now needing the support of the EIC – which is why myself and the team at Niglon wanted to do our bit to support our peers and colleagues.
“We couldn’t stand by and watch people struggling – whether with grief, illness or financial worries – and that’s why we have launched our partnership with the EIC. We couldn’t be prouder to be supporting our industry charity, and very much intend for this to be a long-term arrangement.”
The EIC was launched more than 100 years ago and offers support to anyone within the electrical, electronics and energy industries experiencing a range of problems including family problems, legal worries, emotional issues or ill health.
They offer a wide range of services including bereavement support, CV help following redundancy or job loss, holistic-based intervention, financial assistance, and an apprentice bursary scheme.
