Company vision: Forum Lighting Solutions is a designer and distributor of high quality, energy saving light fittings and lamps. Forum aims to provide our customers with aesthetically pleasing, low energy lighting solutions with a competitive pricing structure
Forum Lighting Solutions is now into its fifth year of trading and is fast becoming a recognised name in the lighting industry. Part of a lighting group with over 60 years trading history, Forum has used a wealth of experience to produce an ever-increasing range of innovative products, boasting great build quality and a competitive pricing structure.
Light it up
Forum specialises in outdoor, coastal, kitchen, bathroom and interior lighting. The company has also developed a successful range of LED compatible lighting controls, as well as an exciting new range of radiant heaters. Feedback from distributors has heavily influenced the Forum range as they strive to develop products that meet a requirement in the market. An example of this recent product development is the coastal range of polycarbonate and grade 316 stainless steel light fittings.
As well as its in-house brands, Forum is also a proud distributor of Stanley & Waterford branded lighting. The Stanley range includes a selection of hard wearing, LED site lighting that has the build quality associated with the brand. The Waterford range of highly decorative fittings is IP44 rated and designed with bathrooms in mind but looks equally as glamourous in traditional locations.
Customer service
From day one, customer service was identified as being a crucial element in the development of the business. Forum offers next day service as standard to our mainland UK distributors, on orders placed before 3pm. Distributors in Ireland and the Isles can rely on a two day service and low carriage paid values. Every distributor is allocated an industry experienced internal account manager, so that relationships can be developed, making the trading relationship more enjoyable. A team of external Area Managers and well respected sales agents mean that each distributor has a face to talk to, when they need to speak with someone in person.
Helping hand
Forum aims to supply its distributors with all of the tools necessary to help promote the range. These tools include a regular supply of A4 & A5 catalogues, catalogue lecterns, POS material, branded promotional fliers, plus ceiling and wall lighting display boards. The bespoke displays are made to suit the distributors available space (internal or external) and can contain any range they wish to display.
Forum’s route to market is through the electrical wholesaler and the company works very closely with its distributors. Once a stockist has been set up in an area, Forum will actively help promote the range and drive trade through that wholesaler.
