HiKOKI Power Tools has announced two new additions to its cordless range, the W18DB and W18DA Cordless Drywall Screwdrivers, tools which promise to transform the work of builders, heating and plumbing installers and electricians.

Ergonomically designed for peak performance, the W18DB model, with its 18V power and 10 Nm of torque operates at a no-load speed of up to 3,000 rotations per minute and is a great tool for heavier-duty work. The W18DA, also at 18V but with 6 Nm of torque, is optimised for speed with a no-load speed reaching 5,000 rotations per minute.

Both models feature an Autostart function, a cool design for comfortable one-hand operation, and are equipped with a screwdriver magazine for series work. The “Impulse” mode allows for the precise driving of protruding screws, while the adjustable depth guide and low noise claw clutch make for consistent screwdriving. They also come with two integrated LEDs for illuminating the workspace.

The W18DB and W18DA are lightweight, compact, have a brushless motor and come with a stackable case. HiKOKI backs these products with a three-year warranty, and a five-year warranty subject to terms and conditions and product registration.
