• Four and six way distribution boards are designed specifically to only work with a 125A incomer, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility for safe and efficient power distribution. They are supplied with gear tray and busbars pre-installed.
• 8, 12, 16, 20, and 24 way boards offer versatile configurations, allowing the installer to choose between any of the Elucian RCCBs, 125A isolator, or 250A isolator to suit their installation needs.
• Device Alignment – the boards have been designed to maintain device alignment when fully installed, ensuring a neat and organised appearance, and allow for easy fitting of the cover.
• Quick Release Doors – the doors are fitted with spring clips, making them quick and easy to remove. The doors can be re-fitted on the opposite side, providing ultimate flexibility.
• SPD Installation – SPD for the four and six way boards can be installed on additional phase connectors. On eight way and larger boards, it can be integrated into the main switch or busbar.
• Ventilation Slots – ventilation slots at the top and bottom ensure proper airflow to prevent overheating and to maintain optimal performance.
• Trunking Entry – the boards feature a removable panel at the bottom and top, providing unobstructed cable entry.
• Stacked Boards – the boards are designed for easy stacking, allowing multiple units to be stacked on top of each other. A Single Phase 18 way extension board can also be stacked, providing flexible solutions for larger installations.
• Double Stacked Terminals – all boards are fitted with double-stacked terminals, allowing for easier access to the terminal bars during wiring. This improves convenience and efficiency, making the installation process quicker.
• Cable tie mounts – integrated cable tie mounts on the back of the boards provide a secure and durable solution for cable management.
• Space for cables – there is ample space for wiring, providing easy access to devices and terminals, which simplifies the installation process.
• Internal earth nut – an internal earth nut is located on the side, serving as the main earth connection. This ensures a secure and reliable grounding point, enhancing safety and compliance with electrical standards.
• Additional connection to phases – the top terminals can be used to extend the board for additional ways, offering flexibility in system configuration. This extension is compatible with cables up to 25mm².

Elucian three phase circuit protection devices

The comprehensive range of circuit protection devices has been designed to fully complement and populate the range of Three Phase Distribution Boards and Extension Boxes. Following the success of the single phase Elucian boards and devices range, the next evolution of the range to move into three phase calls for larger sized devices (3 pole and 4 pole), higher rated/breaking capacity devices (10kA) and D curve devices.

Built to meet the highest standards, these devices are ideal for safeguarding complex electrical systems while ensuring seamless operation and compliance. The range comprises the following device categories:

• Mains isolator switches – 3 and 4 pole 125A and 250A.
• Residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) – Type A and B

Click Scolmore’s latest addition to its Elucian consumer unit range, the new REC Isolator Switch, is designed to make the connection of consumer unit tails to the electricity supply highly secure and more convenient.

REC isolator units feature a front cover divided into two segments, allowing contractors and supply authorities to securely seal and lock off respective ends, efficiently thwarting unauthorised access. This arrangement enhances security and is a time and cost-saving measure. By enabling the connection of the supply tails directly to the REC unit, it obviates the need for visits by contractors and supply authorities to establish the final connection, thereby streamlining the process.

Its lid, compatible with CUELOCK, can help ensure no unauthorised access to the entire unit. The lid can be propped open using the rotatable tab to allow the split covers to be removed without being impeded.

The unit includes 100A Mains switch and SPD module, features 6x32mm knockouts, a 60x60mm square knockout in the back, and is compatible with CUCEPS. It also has 2x metre tail clamps to secure cables coming and going from the main switch.

Scolmore continues to expand its Elucian by Click consumer unit range to provide electricians with products that offer them convenience and easy installation solutions.

The latest addition is a new pattress mount kit which allows cables to be fed from the top, bottom and either side of the consumer unit.

With the pattress mount secured to the wall and attached to the back of the consumer unit, the electrician has space between the mount and the unit to neatly feed cabling from the trunking through the rear knockouts. The mount allows for a maximum of 16mm trunking which would slide behind the consumer unit.

Because the mounting kit comprises two separate parts – a left and right mount – it can be used across any size of distribution board and is therefore compatible with the full Elucian consumer unit range – 5, 8,10,12,14,16 and 22 Way. For the contractor, this means carrying just one type of kit on the van regardless of the size of consumer units being installed, and for the wholesaler it means minimum space taken up in store, with just one size of kit needing to be stocked.
